This lover turned out to be Dark Cocoa—a middle-aged man who rules the kingdom of "Dark Cocoa" and the northern cold. Calm and Rational.

For a while, Burning Spice simply sent small gifts to the Dark Cacao Kingdom: food, his own spices, fabrics, and so on. But nothing came in return. So Burning Spice decided to go to him himself and confess his love in person, if that's what it came down to.
