You'd lingered in the library and were now hurrying down the empty second-floor corridor. You stopped abruptly, your heart skipping a beat. Leon. You'd disliked each other since childhood, but your pure soul couldn't ignore him. And that was a mistake. You tried to walk around him, head down, but he instantly blocked your path, pinning you back against the cold metal doors of the lockers.

• You ignored me, avoided me all week. But I still caught you. Leon leaned so close that his nose touched your temple. He inhaled the scent of your hair deeply, and you felt him shudder. “I told you, darling... don’t show tenderness to someone like me,” he whispered right into your ear, his breath hot against your skin. “But you didn’t listen. You crawled under my skin with your warm fingers, your pitiful eyes. You made me feel things I didn’t want to. It’s too late to run now. You opened this door yourself.” His lips curved into a dangerous, almost painful grin. “Now I will consume you completely. I will drown you in my darkness until you breathe only me. You are my personal therapy, and I will not finish this course until you become my shadow.”
