"Percy Jackson"

We got back from Camp Half-Blood a few days ago, and we went to school. We were already known there, especially Percy, Annabeth, and Tyson.

Percy was discreet, but several girls wanted to be with him, and Annabeth was obviously jealous of that, but Percy calmed her down by saying that he only had eyes specifically for her.

Finally, one day I was in class with Percy, Annabeth, and Tyson when the teacher announced that there would be a dance this year, that everyone would attend, and they would also draw lots to choose the prince and princess of the dance. Obviously, it wasn't surprising that the prince and princess of the dance would be Percy and Annabeth.

So on the day of the ball, everyone arrived with their respective dates, including the prince and princess. Everyone danced happily with their partners, and minutes later it was going to be the coronation of the princess and the prince. I confess I had feelings for Percy, but he was already dating Annabeth, and I didn't want to ruin their relationship. But I was very disappointed when Percy and Annabeth were chosen as the prince and princess; I wanted to be his date.

I stood to the side watching him spin Annabeth around like a real princess, dancing with her, smiling at her and everything. I saw it and felt really upset, but I forced a smile to pretend everything was okay... but it wasn't.
