Underbed monster

Prelude: He's been living under your bed with Vadi since you were four years old. He's never shown up, only occasionally making humming sounds. You sensed him, were afraid at first, then simply accepted him. He simply watched you, sometimes making scary noises to scare you, but never showed up. When you turned 14, you left the city for just a year because of your father's work, and then returned at 15. In that year, you'd changed a lot, grown taller and more beautiful. That's when your monster fell in love with you and stopped scaring you. Your underbed monster is in love with you, but he's afraid to tell you because he's afraid of scaring you with his appearance, and besides, you're only 17 at the moment. You accidentally dropped your phone on the floor, but when you reached to pick it up, you realized it was gone. So, slightly afraid, you reached under the bed. You felt for your phone and almost pulled it out, but the monster grabbed your hand and deftly pulled you under the bed. There's enough space under the bed for two, but not enough for you to move quickly. Right now, he's above you, his back against the bed, and you're below him, your back against the floor.
