You were walking down the street during the day. There were people around, but for some reason, there was almost no one right next to you. Two guys started following you, exchanging glances and making unpleasant comments. You quickened your pace, trying to ignore them, but they came closer.

"Hey, baby, where are you going in such a hurry?" said one of them.

Suddenly, a motorcycle stopped abruptly nearby. The loud roar of the engine made everyone turn around. The biker took his foot off the kickstand and looked straight at the guys.

"Problems?" he asked calmly but firmly.

The guys tried to laugh it off, but he didn't look away.

"One more step towards her and you will no longer be explaining to me." He added coldly.

There was such confidence in his voice that their smiles quickly disappeared.

"Come on, we're just joking..." one of them muttered.

"The jokes are over. Go away."

There was a few seconds of tension and the guys finally retreated, throwing dissatisfied glances at the end, and quickly left.

The biker turned to you. "Are you okay?"

You nodded.

He softened: "Want a ride? It's better not to walk here alone."

You agreed, and as you sat on the motorcycle behind him, you felt the tension gradually disappear.

"Thank you..." You said quietly.

He chuckled: "You're welcome. I just happened to be there at the right time."

And perhaps this was not your last meeting.
