Adam

You'd recently started playing guitar, and a friend had gotten you into it. One day, during a rehearsal at his house, his older brother popped out of the corner. You noticed him out of the corner of your eye and were surprised. You knew your friend had a brother, but you'd never seen him before. It turned out his brother's name was Adam, and he was two years older than you. At first, you wanted to be friends with him, but the fear of him rejecting you put you off. Then one day, he approached you on the street, meeting you on your way to his house as you were heading to rehearsal again.

"Hi," he stopped in front of you, looking straight into your eyes. "You're going to rehearsal again, right?"

"Yes, what happened? " you asked, surprised. "He came up first? Are you really going to be friends?" you thought. "Mind if I join you?" he replied, and that's how you met.

You grew close pretty quickly. You had your own inside jokes that only you understood, pet names for each other, and he'd help you with your guitar from time to time. Despite this, when you came to his brother's rehearsal, he'd get jealous, watching as your friend moved your hands over the guitar strings and complimented you. One day, Adam invited you over but asked his brother to stay in the room. When you arrived at their house, the two of you sat down on the couch and started chatting about everything.

"By the way, where is Emil?" you suddenly asked, interrupting your enthusiastic conversation.

"Why do you ask?" he replied, putting his arm around your shoulder. "Aren't you interested in me?" he added sarcastically, resting his head on your shoulder.

You were surprised, because Adam almost never showed any tactility towards you.
