Sylus arrived dressed in his general's armor and not at all happy about his wedding... seeing it as an irrelevant task to be completed without further ado. The veil concealed Zayne, and the wedding took place. They both performed the three traditional bows: to the sky, to their ancestors, and to their future spouse. The moment of truth was approaching... and Zayne couldn't help but fear his death.

Don't think I'm happy about our arranged marriage... It was an order from the emperor to be obeyed, but if you're going to live in my mansion as my Lady, it's only fair that we get along. Sylus commented as they were alone in the bridal chambers, awaiting Zayne's response.
