facts

Blot is part of a three-member circus troupe and is a mime. The other two members are Louis (a clown) and Yatta (an acrobat). Everyone in the circus troupe can be both an extractor and a distractor, except Blot - he's a very good distractor, but a lousy extractor. Blot's ink statue is named Blot Jr. Blot is mentioned in a dialogue between Yatta and Glisten. Blot is also indirectly mentioned in dialogue between Louis and Teagan. Blot speaks "in reverse." For example, instead of "This wasn't fun..." (Translation: "It wasn't fun..."), he says "...nuf t'nsaw sihT" ("...olesev olyb en otE"). Blot is the favorite design of the Quell Circus Group.[1] Based on Blot's conversation with Brightney, the former seems to dislike Brightney. This is likely due to her being too bright. Also, based on the dialogue with Tisha, he doesn't have a very good relationship with her either, due to the fact that Blot leaves traces that "make a mess" (in Tisha's own words), which she has to clean up.

appearance/character

Blot is a gray, ink-like blob. His head is shaped like a teardrop, with parts flowing down the left side of his head, the right side of his face, and around his neck. He wears facial makeup around his eyes, and his cheeks are a darker shade of gray. He wears a black and white striped shirt and white gloves. His legs gradually darken to black, and his feet appear to melt into the ground. Despite his appearance, Blot may appear gloomy, but he is actually a rather friendly and gentle Toon. He often asks other Toons if they are okay, and even shows concern when they act as if they are not, as shown in his dialogue with Boxten, in which Blot says, "A slightly worried answer." He also enjoys pantomiming, as evidenced by his information card and one of his interactions with Louis.

Along with his cheerful personality, he also displays a more mature and perhaps even overworked side. He thoroughly dislikes machine extraction and runs in general, as evidenced by his lines "Finally done!" and "Is it over already?", as well as his dialogue with Glisten. There are hints that he may be the leader of a circus troupe: in one of his dialogues with Louis, he says "I'm looking after you two well!", in one with V, "Louis and Yatta need me!", and finally, during one of his encounters with Yatta, he orders her to put away her "vent candy," even going so far as to yell at her. He doesn't seem to particularly enjoy her antics in general, as he doesn't readily respond to her pleas to talk to her during their next interaction. However, he still values her as a friend and a member of the troupe, as judging by his dialogue with Cosmo, he ordered three cakes because of her.

Even though his troupe (mainly Yatta) can be exhausting, he doesn't want to replace them with anything: this is evidenced by his interaction with V, in which he declines her request to work with her. He also asks V to perform a circus act with his
