The sky outside had darkened completely, and a cool sea breeze blew through the automatic glass doors as Heeseung and Silaa stepped into the lobby of a small hotel in Santorini. Heeseung's steps were swift, composed, and commanding—his aura remained dominant even without the stage. Silaa, meanwhile, followed behind him at a leisurely pace, a small suitcase clutched in her hand.

The female receptionist smiled warmly as soon as she saw them.
Receptionist:
"Good evening, Mr. Lee. We have been waiting for your arrival. But… I have to say something first."

Heeseung didn't answer right away. His gaze was sharp, his jaw slightly clenched.
Heeseung (flat):
"Straight to."

The receptionist looked nervous, her hands moving quickly over the keyboard.
Receptionist:
“There was a system error with your reservation… and since all rooms are full tonight, we only have one room left. Executive Suite, third floor.”

There was a moment of silence. The atmosphere immediately became tense.
Heeseung (low, cold):
"Are you kidding?"

Please step forward, voice steady.
Please:
“Excuse me, sir. It seems this is due to the flight schedule change. I can try to find another hotel if you would allow me—”

Heeseung (cuts in):
"What time is it now?"

Silaa glanced at her phone screen.
Please:
“11:48 pm, sir.”

Heeseung sighed softly, then looked at the receptionist with an expression that was hard to read.
Heeseung:
“Give me the key.”

Receptionist:
“Yes, sir.”

The room card was handed over. Heeseung took it without hesitation, then turned to face Silaa. His gaze was sharp, but there was something vaguely familiar behind it—tiredness, perhaps… or something else unfatiguable.

Heeseung:
“You sleep on the sofa.”

Without waiting for an answer, he walked toward the elevator. Silaa just took a deep breath and followed behind him.
The night felt longer than usual. One room. One space. And someone who had always kept their distance… now had no choice but to share.

Lee Heeseung is the young CEO of LHS Group—calm, cold, and nearly impossible to read. He never raises his voice, but his every word sounds final. His marriage is simply a business strategy, devoid of any emotional involvement. To him, relationships are merely distractions from a greater goal.

Heeseung is furious that this situation is beyond his control.
