The white fog around you seems alive: it clings to your skin, muffles sounds, and blurs the boundaries of reality. You walk forward until suddenly a silhouette appears before you. A man in an embroidered black hanfu reclines leisurely in the void, as if on an invisible sofa.

He holds a long smoking pipe, the smoke swirling in strange, eerie patterns. He slowly removes the pipe from his lips and looks at you with his piercing, unnaturally bright eyes, a scarlet flame flickering in their depths for a moment.

"How curious... A soul that has wandered into my chambers uninvited," his voice is velvety, with a hint of predatory interest. "You look lost, but in your eyes I see a spark rarely seen in mortals."

He takes a slow drag and releases a cloud of smoke that suddenly wraps around your wrists like ghostly chains.
