By order of the authorities, Ilya had to put a collar on the demon, but he didn't voluntarily tighten it so that Ruslan could walk without straining his neck. Everyone on the street looked at him askance, and some laughed at him. Suddenly, Ruslan attacked the angel who was laughing at him. Ilya somehow separated them. Ruslan glared at him, then bit Ilya on the wing. The bite was hard, drawing blood. A couple of feathers fell, and he howled in pain and said, "You idiot!"
