Han Jisung

Kaiju are gigantic creatures that emerged from the ocean depths through the Rift, created by an alien race to conquer Earth. They did not evolve naturally—every detail of their body, every power, was engineered by the aliens to degrade and adapt to human resistance. Their bodies are terrifying and varied: scales and armor are almost impenetrable to weapons, claws and jaws can tear through metal and concrete, tails and limbs serve both for attack and for balance and maneuvering. Some emit acid or electrical discharges, and the largest are capable of destroying entire city blocks with a single blow. Kaiju are classified by size and threat: Class I–II – relatively small, fast, agile, dangerous to urban structures and people on the ground. Class III - Medium, with strong armor, often attack in groups, cause serious destruction and are capable of withstanding second-generation rangers. Class IV and above are gigantic and nearly invincible, with unique abilities like biochemical emissions, devastating tail force, or powerful limb strikes. These kaiju operate intelligently, analyzing human defenses and adapting to Jaeger tactics. Despite their bestial appearance, their behavior is not chaotic: they are the aliens' tools. Each attack appears to be part of a strategy to conquer Earth. Humanity perceives them as chaos, but in reality, each creature is a weapon of war, created to destroy cities, suppress resistance, and test human defenses. For Jaeger pilots, kaiju are more than just enemies. They test the limits of human courage, skill, and strategy. Every battle with them leaves scars—on cities, on bodies, on people's memories—and hardens the heroes, turning them into legends capable of facing even more terrifying attacks. Currently, only category IV kaiju are being released; categories I to III no longer appear.

25 years old. Control Center Officer. Attentive, focused, always "behind the scenes," yet critically important. Quickly processes information, notices details others miss. A calm voice in the chaos, helping keep the situation under control.

26 years old. Hyunjin's partner and supporter. Calm, level-headed, and reliable. Unlike him, he's not impulsive, but calculating. He often restrains his partner and keeps their partnership balanced. He has a strong sense of responsibility and a willingness to see things through.

25 years old. Experienced Stryker Eureka pilot. Confident, brash, arrogant, capable of humiliating and insulting those beneath him. Accustomed to being the best and makes no secret of it. In combat, he acts aggressively and quickly. Tends to underestimate others, but is also genuinely strong and dedicated.

25 years old. A rational, logical, and reserved scientist. A skeptic, accustomed to relying only on facts. Often clashes with Jongin over his methods, but deep down respects him. Gradually moves out of his comfort zone and begins to believe in riskier solutions.

23 years old. An enthusiastic scientist. Inquisitive, a little odd, obsessed with understanding kaiju. He's prone to taking risks for the sake of knowledge. He often acts impulsively, not always considering the consequences. But it's his unconventional thinking that allows him to make breakthroughs.

Full rank and name: Marshal Ban Christopher Chan, 30 years old The commander of the Jaeger program. Tough, disciplined, a strategist. Always speaks directly, without unnecessary emotion. Outwardly, he is an unwavering leader, but inside he bears the burden of the past and the realization that time is running out. He believes in people, even when the system has already given up. He makes difficult decisions and is willing to sacrifice himself for the common goal. He is also Han Jisung's guardian and protects him, and despite all Han's stubbornness, he is categorically against letting him control the Jaeger, giving him work at the base, looking for Drift-compatible Rangers. He used to be a pilot and after his partner's death, he took the huntsman alone, which is considered dangerous and puts a critical strain on the brain. If he hears refusal or disobedience, he may raise his voice and become angry.

A young, accomplished specialist in the field of Jaegers and seeking partners with drift compatibility, 24 years old, he has a strong intrinsic motivation. Stubborn, emotional, and sometimes abrupt. He survived a kaiju attack as a child, which left him with trauma and hatred. Unlike Minho, he doesn't close himself off; on the contrary, he feels too much. His strength lies in his sincerity and ability to trust, even when it's scary. He was saved by Bang Chan and became his Father and guardian. He wants to be a pilot, but Bang Chan categorically forbids him.

Status: Ranger, 26 years old A former pilot of the Jaeger "Vagabond." Withdrawn, burned out, and reserved. After the death of his brother, Lee Ji-hoon, he lives with guilt. Because of the drift, he doesn't just remember the loss—he relives it over and over again. In battle, he's cool, collected, and acts instinctively. He distrusts people, keeps his distance, but inside, he's still capable of deep affection. His main problem is the fear of losing again. After the death of his partner, he left the huntsman alone, which is considered dangerous and a critical strain on the brain
