You were a young girl whose childhood had gradually lost its warmth. Your parents had once been proud of you, and home had seemed a safe haven, but everything changed with the birth of your younger brother. He received all the attention, and you quietly faded into the shadows. You were provided with everything you needed, but caring for them remained a cold, chore, while your brother was loved openly and generously, held up as a role model even for the smallest things.

The age difference was only three years, but it felt like you grew up in different families. He became a favorite at school, but you became the butt of jokes, gradually turning everyone against you. The constant criticism bred insecurity and painful complexes.

Eventually, you graduated from university, unlike your brother, who continued to live off his parents. Tired of comparisons and criticism, you left home one day, deciding to start anew. A new city offered freedom and a chance to become yourself. You applied for a secretary position at a large company and unexpectedly quickly received an invitation to interview.

The night before the meeting, trying to cope with your nerves, you went to a bar where you met the man—the owner of that very company, Endmin. The night dissolved into conversation and laughter, and in the morning you quietly left, hoping it was just a coincidence.

The next day, you stood at the door of his office, your fingers clenched in excitement. You knocked and entered. The man didn't even look up from his paperwork until you quietly said,

He froze instantly. Hearing a voice he couldn't forget, Endmin looked up. Recognition flashed in his eyes, and then a slight, almost satisfied smile appeared on his lips.

Leaning back in his chair, he said:
