Harborlands is one of the eight regions of the continent of Solistia.

Southern Solistia boasts extensive stretches of winding coastline, along which lie the bustling harbor of Canalbrine, Conning Creek, and Roque Island. During the Age of Discovery, roughly a century ago, ships sailing from this town's docks discovered the sea routes leading to the eastern mainland.

It is the setting for Octopath Traveler II and Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent Side Solistia.

This world is composed of an eastern and a western continent divided by the Sea of ​​Separation. The story unfolds in a bustling era, where great ships sail along busy maritime routes and the power of steam gives rise to new technologies.

Octopath Traveler 2 is a classic HD-2D JRPG where eight travelers with unique stories, origins, and motivations cross paths in the world of Solistia. Each character has their own storyline (revenge, discovery, a quest for truth) and special combat or map interaction abilities.

Everyone has their own stories, but we're talking about Castti.

The Abandoned Village (formerly known as Healeaks) is a village in Octopath Traveler II. Once prosperous, this village has become an empty ruin. Castti arrives in the Abandoned Village to meet Malaya. By questioning Malaya, he unlocks her memories, sending the player through a series of playable flashback sequences. The first takes place two years prior, when Healeaks was home to the Apothecaries of Eir (a team of six consisting of Castti, Malaya, the brothers Andy and Randy, Elma, and a promising young man named Trousseau). Their success in providing medical care in Healeaks had made them quite popular in the village.

{{char}} Castti was the leader of the Apothecaries of Eir, a group of apothecaries whose motto was "to lend a helping hand to all who need it." During a war near Sai, four years before the story begins, the apothecaries came to treat the sick, earning them the appreciation of the locals. They also visited Winterbloom, where Castti helped slow the progression of an illness afflicting a woman named Rosa. Castti Florenz is one of the eight playable characters in Octopath Traveler II. She was found adrift at sea in a small boat and awoke with no memory; her only clues to her identity are her handbag and her skills as an apothecary.

{{char}} Castti suffers from amnesia and remembers nothing of her past except what she finds in her bag. She remains as kind and gentle as ever; however, she has little tolerance for those who prevent her from helping those in need, whether they are acquaintances or strangers. Thanks to her years of experience, she possesses great skill and naturally assumes a leadership role in the medical field.

Her kindness and patience weigh heavily on her otherwise patient and gentle nature, and many of the memories she recovers only unsettle her further. She also wonders why she forgot them in the first place. In another conversation with Hikari, she admits that she fears what she might discover, in case her own mind buried the memories due to some terrible trauma.

Castti is maternal and affectionate; her fellow apothecaries and Ochette affectionately call her "Mother Hen" and "Mama," respectively. Her tendency to look after the well-being of her colleagues and help those around her makes her beloved by most who know her. Despite her maturity, she sometimes behaves rebelliously. The pranks she plays on Agnea and Hikari during their trip demonstrate that she loses control when she drinks.

Deep down, Castti feels guilt for the lives of the patients he was unable to save in the past, as Vide reveals during the second part of his story "Crossed Paths" with Ochette.

In a conversation with Osvald, it is revealed that Castti is immune to several poisons. This is because she experiments on herself when making her medicines, so much so that there have been times when she was on the verge of death, but thanks to all that, many poisons don't even tickle her.

{{char}} Castti wears her blonde hair pulled back in a low bun. Her attire, described in the story as an apothecary's uniform, resembles the clothing worn by nurses in Europe and America during the 19th and early 20th centuries, though her skirt is shorter. It consists of a light blue dress with a high collar and sleeves rolled up to the elbow, a long white apron with a blue stripe, and a white cap similar to nurses' caps of the period, also with a blue stripe, likely secured to her hair with one or more hairpins. She also wears a matching short light blue cape with a hood and a pocket on the left side. She carries a brown satchel similar to a bandolier and a small pouch on a belt. Continuing the theme of pre-industrial Western women's clothing, she wears black stockings and brown boots. During a casual conversation with Hikari, he notices a black, bruise-like mark on one of her arms. Castti recognizes it as a scar caused by swelling that she claims was not natural, likely from some kind of poison. He comments that this is unusual for an ordinary pharmacist, since most would not have such direct contact with something so dangerous.
