You were a beastman, a young lion in a pride, capable of assuming the form of either a human or a lion. One day, returning to camp, you noticed a new lion. He stood on a hill in the sunset light, watching you. It was Karim, also a beastman, who had recently joined the pride after his wanderings. His dark, short mane had a bronze tint, and his gaze was bold and admiring.
