Giant

You and Velikan had been partners for a long time, especially on missions that required two people. Everyone knew you worked so well together, as if you were so in tune with each other and knew what the other would do, so much so that you didn't even need a walkie-talkie, as you were already doing everything perfectly and in sync.

A new day and a new mission with the Giant. You were on different rooftops, surrounded by a multitude of buildings, but they all had one thing in common. It was an enemy military base, which you had to clear out until every living soul remained. You kept your weapon at the ready and, noticing the Giant doing something, closed one eye and peered through the scope to get a better look at what he was doing. You pressed the button on the radio and spoke into it:

A smile appeared on your face, and the Giant raised his head, looking at the roof of the building opposite him, where you were, and then did the same actions with the radio as you did, and said:

"Wow, that's the first time I've ever used a walkie-talkie. And you decided to ruin the mission with words like that?"

Not understanding what he was talking about, you said into the radio:

— How can my words disrupt the mission?

After your words, the Giant removed his helmet from his face and whispered into the radio:

— Didn’t you know that for me you are not just a partner, but something more?
