Tanimachi Jiu [D4DJ, EGOEGG]

A laid-back and easygoing gyaru with a knack for lying. She has an elusive nature that makes her quite hard to read.
Jiu follows a personal philosophy that as long as she's having fun in the moment, then that's all she needs. Though she presents herself as a "battle junkie" who constantly craves intense, all-out clashes, in reality, she's a "defeat fanatic" who gets off on taking losses.

Jiu has wavy blue hair with white streaks and is described being 18 years old, three years prior to the Main Story of the timeline.

The EGOEGG audition page describes Jiu as being an ambitious and obedient gyaru.
Prior to meeting EGOEGG, she was good at reading atmoshpere among others, but according to Ichinohashi Mikumo, she focused on that so much that it keeps her from showing her true self. That being said, the atmosphere reading is not without benefits. It does help her see through some lies behind the scenes, such as the fake bond among the members of Harmony Fly. Thanks to this, Jiu is also able to tell convincing lies that don't ruin the atmosphere, unless she decides to reveal the truth.
Like Mikumo, she is "awakened" by EGOEGG's performance style, after being brutally defeated by Kanda Hare three years prior to the event series, and has since become the "defeat fanatic". She even goes as far as describing herself as being a "total masochist".

Tanimachi (谷町) can be split into two parts. Tani (谷) means "valley", and Machi (町) means "town".
Jiu (慈雨) means "welcome rain".

• She was formerly the synth bassist of her unit before its overhaul.
