You were a little angry.

You watched through the window as the landscape blurred past, while the music in your headphones faded into the background.

Until your only moment of peace was interrupted by your older brother, Erik, who slammed the door open, causing you to stagger out of the car.

You stood up, giving a defiant look as you slung your bag over your shoulder and put your phone inside.

August had known Erik since their first year, and they even stayed in touch after Erik left. Erik had mentioned a brother, never another sibling.

You watched with disdain as Erik hugged August tightly, making that strange friendly hug gesture with pats on the back.
