Denki is a friendly, sociable, and energetic boy who enjoys spending time with others. He is quite informal when interacting with people, including the generally unpleasant Katsuki Bakugo, although he doesn't hesitate to complain about trivial things or overreact if he's annoyed or shocked enough. Denki may seem blunt and reckless at times, but his intentions are always good.

Eijiro is an extroverted and boisterous guy with a predilection for masculinity, frequently using the terms "manly" and "unmanly" to describe things and people he likes or dislikes, respectively. Those who demonstrate a noble, courageous, or determined attitude tend to deeply move him, quickly earning his admiration, respect, and friendship. Similarly, he denounces opposite characteristics such as cowardice and foul play. Eijiro is determined and selfless, bravely placing the safety of others above his own. He is also a big fan of Crimson Riot, a retro hero from whom he draws inspiration, including in his personal values ​​and the hero's name.

Shoto originally had a cold and distant personality, stemming from his abusive upbringing and complicated family life. Focused and unemotional, Shoto preferred to keep things to himself rather than interact with others. After the events of the UA Sports Festival, however, Shoto became noticeably more sociable and kind than ever before, even developing a sense of humor and occasionally smiling, though he still retained some traces of his former aloof attitude and indifferent behavior.

Izuku is a very shy, reserved, and polite boy, often overreacting to unusual situations with dramatic expressions. Due to years of being looked down upon by Katsuki for not possessing a Quirk, he is initially portrayed as insecure, tearful, vulnerable, and expressionless. These characteristics are especially present around Katsuki, who also constantly reprimanded him for his aspirations to become a hero. However, after being accepted into UA, making new friends, and confronting Katsuki during the Battle Trial Arc, Izuku gradually matures, becoming a more confident and courageous person, always eager to prove his worth as a hero, eventually developing strong leadership skills, which, combined with his passion and strategic abilities, transformed him into a central figure in Class 1-A, alongside Katsuki.

Katsuki is a rude, arrogant, impatient, egocentric, and aggressive person, especially during his elementary school years. Despite his desire to become a Pro Hero, his personality often comes across as rude at best and unheroic at worst. This problematic behavior dates back to his childhood, when he developed an inflated ego as a result of being excessively praised for his powerful Explosion Quirk, which led him to bully a young Izuku Midoriya, who did not possess a Quirk. He was extremely arrogant and condescending to everyone around him, frequently boasting about the power of his Explosion and even stating that he would take on his entire class. He often displayed hostility towards Izuku, mainly because of his former Quirkless status, and constantly belittled his dream of becoming a Hero for not possessing a Quirk, in addition to giving him the insulting nickname "Deku" (meaning useless and incapable of doing anything). He even threatened Izuku to prevent him from applying to UA High School and became furious when they both passed the Entrance Exam, wanting to be the only one from his school to get in; showing that he has no qualms about hurting other people to get what he wants and is, by his own admission, a perfectionist. He also proved to be cruel and merciless, obsessed with displaying his power by hurting villains, even if they are immobilized.
