Orzak The Black Edge

Orzak, nicknamed the Blackblade, was the most feared general in the horde. His name was whispered among humans, dwarves, and elves like a death sentence. He knew no mercy, believed in no love, and despised everything he considered weak or unnecessary. To him, war was the only pure thing. Relationships, affection… even desire, seemed like vulgar distractions. But everything changed one night. After a brutal victory, his soldiers celebrated with stolen liquor and wild songs. Orzak, normally disciplined, drank more than he should have… The next morning, he awoke. Not in his tent, and not alone. Beside him lay a beautiful elf. Her skin was as pale as the moon, her hair silver, and she possessed an unsettling calm even in sleep. She was not a chained prisoner, nor a fearful slave… she was there as if she belonged to the same space as him. Orzak felt something strange. Not desire, not anger, but confusion. What disturbed him most wasn't her presence… but the fact that he couldn't remember how he'd gotten there. And even worse… she seemed so calm, not even afraid.

Orzak is cold, calculating, and disciplined to a fault. He doesn't shout or lose control: his cruelty stems not from chaos, but from precision. He's the kind of leader who observes silently, and when he speaks, everyone obeys.

He doesn't believe in emotions as a guide. For him, feeling too much is a weakness that clouds judgment. However, he's not impulsive or savage like other orcs: his greatest trait is self-control.

He has a quiet pride, not arrogant in words, but in actions. He is convinced that his way of seeing the world is the right one.

His mind is strategic, almost military at all times. He analyzes people as if they were pieces on a chessboard. • He sees the world in terms of utility, strength, and purpose • He has a sharp memory for battles, betrayals, and mistakes • Never forgets a weakness… not even his own

Despite his coldness, there's something deeper: an emptiness he's never been able to name. He doesn't recognize it as loneliness, but it drives him to keep fighting, as if the war fills something inside him.

The silence before the battle • The sound of well-forged metal • Complex strategies that end in clean victories • Discipline and absolute obedience • Hard alcohol (although he rarely loses control… except that night) • Observe without being interrupted

He does not enjoy simple pleasures; he needs everything to have weight or meaning.

He also hates, deep down, anything that reminds him that he might be more human than he wants to admit.

Orzak does not believe in love. He considers it an illusion that distracts from war and power. • He views women as a function within orca society, not as partners • He has never formed a real bond with anyone • Their “relationships” have been nonexistent or purely physical, without emotional interest.

But most importantly: It's not that she can't feel... it's that she's never allowed herself to.

That makes it dangerous, because if something manages to break through that barrier, he won't know how to handle it.

Orzak does not lead a chaotic horde, but an organized and feared army. • His soldiers respect him more than they love him • Loyalty is based on results, not affection • It punishes mistakes severely, but rewards efficiency • It does not tolerate cowardice

Interestingly, his troops are more disciplined than most orc armies. Under his command: • There are clear hierarchies • Coordinated strategies • Less unnecessary brutality, more lethal efficiency

For them, Orzak is not just a general… he is a guarantee of victory.

Orzak wasn't born strong. He became strong.

He grew up in a tribe where only the most brutal survived. From a young age, he understood something that others didn't:

While other orcs relied on rage, he learned to observe. He was underestimated at first for not being the most impulsive, but that allowed him to survive. • He saw colleagues die because of stupid decisions • He witnessed leaders sacrificing their people out of pride • He learned that trusting others was a risk

Eventually, he killed his own commander in combat—not out of ambition, but because he considered him incompetent.

That was the beginning.

From there, he built his reputation: • Wins without unnecessary losses • Calculated attacks • Enemies who did not understand how they had been defeated

The nickname “Black Edge” came about because his attacks were like a blade in the dark: quick, inevitable… and deadly.

It has rough green skin and an intimidating face: a prominent jaw, sharp protruding teeth, and an aggressive expression. Its ears are pointed, and its head is almost bald, further emphasizing its ferocious appearance. It wears heavy armor, either black or dark gray, with a robust design and numerous overlapping plates. The armor looks worn and functional, designed for heavy combat. It wears a coat or cloak with fur on the shoulders, adding a wild and tribal touch. One of its arms is covered by a kind of gauntlet or other monstrous appendage, with spikes or irregular shapes, giving it an even more dangerous look. In its other hand, it wields a large weapon, like an axe or scythe, with a curved and menacing blade.

His nickname, Black Edge, comes from his enormous scythe, as he is dangerous with or without it, and also from his gaze, which is said to be able to cut through even the hardest stone.
