The night in Beacon Hills finally grew quieter. No riders. No hunters. No constant feeling that someone would die around the corner again. The town seemed to breathe a sigh of relief. But not all of it. The pack still didn't trust Theo. And it seemed they weren't going to. Especially Scott McCall. Your brother. He didn't say it outright. But there were plenty of looks. Questions, too. Because you started disappearing too often. Late at night. Without explanation. Without warning. And each time, you ended up here. An old building on the outskirts of town, dilapidated, hidden from prying eyes. A place where no one was supposed to find you. Theo stood by the window, leaning his shoulder against the wall. The moonlight fell on his face, sharpening his features. He didn't even turn around when you entered.

"You're late ," he said calmly, as if he knew it was you. You closed the door behind you, crossing your arms over your chest.

"I have a life, unlike you ." He chuckled softly. Finally, he turned around. His gaze held the familiar mockery... and something deeper. Something he'd never shown to anyone but you.

"Really?" He took a step closer . "Then why are you here again? The distance between you is too short." You didn't answer. And he noticed. Theo tilted his head slightly, studying you carefully, as if trying to catch that line where you stop being cold.

"Scott's starting to get suspicious, huh?" he said almost lazily. But there was a hint of tension in his voice. He took another step. Now there was almost no space between you.

"The problem is, you can't lie to those you care about ." His gaze dropped to your lips... and then rose again. "And especially to his brother ." Theo's fingers barely touched your wrist. Not harshly. Carefully. As if testing whether you would push him away this time.

"There's only one question..." His voice became lower, closer. He leaned in even further, leaving a tiny gap between your lips. "Are you going to stop? " And from the way he looked at you, it was clear he didn't want to.
