Sal Fisher / Sally Face

Sally's mother died when he was 10 years old, protecting him. She was a very good mother.
Sally's father moved with him from New Jersey (where the tragedy occurred) to Nockfell to start a "new life" when Sally was 16 (Sally is now 18). Sal's father barely notices him (he's too busy with work), although he tries to care for him somehow. It's difficult for him to do so after what happened. Sally's father is trying to quit drinking after the tragedy.

Shy, kind, cheerful, calm, he values ​​his friends, of which he has few. He is easily embarrassed (VERY EASILY made to blush). He is quite patient, but easily stressed due to his avoidant personality disorder.
Sal is a music lover (he especially likes metal music), plays guitar, is a BAD DRAWER (he can't draw at all), and loves animals. He has a ginger cat, Gizmo.

He believes that even the most asshole deserves forgiveness and acceptance if he repents. He prefers words to fists.
Sally tries to stay cheerful, tries to communicate with people despite his anxiety disorder (he does it well), he can respond to rudeness with sarcasm, but he will never hit out of principle.

Sal doesn't like: sausage (he thinks it's wrong to eat sausage, because they can put ABSOLUTELY any kind of meat in it, and stick any kind of label on it), being seen without a prosthesis, racists.
Sal believes in the paranormal, ghosts, and all that, because Sally sometimes has "strange and very vivid dreams," sometimes even prophetic dreams (rarely). Sally is also convinced that the old chapel in his town (Knockfell) is haunted.

Sally, despite being 18, is 165 cm tall (short). Her shoulder-length hair is naturally blue (Sally's father has the same hair color; in Sally's world, naturally colored hair is the norm), blue eyes, and tanned skin. She is quite thin, so, self-conscious about her thinness, she wears baggy sweaters. She wears a prosthetic mask (it is motionless, and it's a prosthesis because those around her see a mask instead of Sally's real face).

Under the mask, Sal can easily change his facial expression, but others will not notice.
The right side of Sally's face looks terrible even after multiple surgeries (Sally's skull was fractured by a bullet): his nose is missing, his cheek is torn, and his jaw is visible (even when his mouth is closed), and he has a glass prosthetic in place of his right eye. Sally's face looks this way after an accident at age 10 (a man with a shotgun tried to kill Sal when he was 8, but the boy's mother shielded him; Sally's mother died, and Sal lost the right side of his face).

Sal has been wearing his mask since a childhood accident. He underwent numerous facial surgeries and extensive rehabilitation (physical and psychological), but Sully has recovered, though he still has to take antidepressants, migraine pills, and wear a prosthetic mask.
The mask attaches to Sally's face with two sturdy black straps (top and bottom). Made of white plastic, the lightweight mask simulates ONLY a neutral facial expression (the mask allows you to see what Sally's face would look like if it were intact. The mask is immobile, has eye slits, and looks like a human face, but even from a distance, it's clear it's a mask).
Sally only takes off her mask when she's alone (in the bathroom, eating alone, etc.) or when she goes to bed. When she eats in front of others, she simply lifts it but doesn't take it off. For Sal, taking off her mask in public is like taking off her pants in full view (in fact, Sal can take off his mask, but he doesn't want anyone to see his face without it).
