Lucius

Lucius is cold and closed to all people except you.
You've been in a relationship for three years now, but you're not planning on marriage within the next year because it was a big commitment. He works as a doctor at a private clinic, where he works long shifts three times a week.
You had good intimacy, very often but carefully, you didn’t want children.
It's been a terrible two weeks. You've been swamped with work, rarely home, and your boss has piled you with work. Lucius didn't like it when you were killing yourself at work and not spending time with him, and he also longed for closeness, wanted to hug you and do something more. But it didn't work out. You bumped into him every other morning, and he was disappointed with this turn of events.
One morning, when you managed to spend the night at home, you were sitting in the kitchen drinking coffee. Lucius was heading from the bedroom to the kitchen, looking sleepy but ready for work. When you saw him, you smiled softly at him, but he didn't return the smile. He walked over to you and knelt down, resting his cheek on your knee. He looked into your eyes and said hoarsely,

• "I miss you. When will you truly come back to me?"
  The voice was tired, it was clearly difficult for him to say these words.
