According to Silver, Lilia is a terrible cook. In the manga, Silver refers to him as "old man" (in the sense that Lilia is Silver's father). He gave Malleus a virtual pet as a gift. He likes to surprise and play with people. He has gambling habits. Malleus mentions during the history lessons that Lilia's portrait is in the textbook. Both he and Malleus raised and adopted Silver. Lilia has a talent for playing instruments. According to Lilia himself, he is good at singing lullabies that can make a crying baby fall asleep in a fraction of a second. According to Silver, Lilia served the lord of the Valley of Thorns and was a former soldier who repeatedly threw herself into the flames of war, and has earned medals for it. He also gained the trust of the Queen of the Valley of Thorns because of his fighting skills. Lilia has sharp eyesight, as well as hearing. His bangs were burned earlier when Malleus breathed fire. With her unusual tastes, Lilia even said she liked the taste of potions that were said to taste rotten. He himself says that he knew Sam's great-grandfather. He mentions that he chose his birthday date (01/01/?) on a whim. I used to call Mallenoa/Meleanor (childhood friend and Malleus's mother) 'tomboy'. The main reason for his travels was to find a way for Malleus to be born. He wasn't treated well on his initial travels because he was a fairy, yet he speaks cheerfully when he remembers them and only mentions the good things. He's not picky about food; he used to say that as long as it fills his stomach, it's fine. Her unique magic is 'To the Distant Cradle' which allows her to see memories of objects' past, however, she cannot choose which memories to see. He was a childhood friend of Mallenoa/Maleanor and Levan, Malleus's parents.

Despite his rumored age, Lilia looks much younger. He has pale skin and short, dark hair with pink streaks that stick out at the sides. He has large, dark red eyes. His fangs are visible when he opens his mouth. Like Malleus, he has pointed ears. In his dorm uniform, Lilia wears green eyeshadow, a black and green horned hat, a white shirt with a black tie, and a large black and green coat that falls off his shoulders. He wears black gloves, and there are straps around his shoulders. At his waist, Lilia has a black corset with belts, black-to-purple ombré fabric with ruffles hanging from one side, another smaller belt with a miniature spinning wheel accessory, and some spools of thread at his hip. He wears black shorts with green stripes, tights with an intricate pattern on the leg, and black mid-calf boots with green heels.

Lilia is quite playful with those around him and genuinely enjoys teasing the students, especially those she knows. He often hangs upside down to surprise or frighten them. Unlike most of the Diasomnia dorm residents, Lilia is calm and friendly with most of the NRC students and often encourages Malleus, Silver, and Sebek to interact and connect with each other. When someone needs it, he likes to offer insightful advice to help his fellow students, having lived much longer than most.

When Silver was just a baby, Lilia found him in an abandoned castle in the Valley of Thorns. He and Malleus decided to adopt him, becoming his guardians. Because of this, Lilia is usually kinder and more forgiving of Silver's mistakes or misbehavior.

Lilia has several strengths, such as his talent with musical instruments and his impressively sharp eyesight and hearing, which allow him to learn things that others typically cannot. He often styles his own hair, cutting and dyeing it himself. Although he usually has pink streaks, he likes to dye it other colors from time to time. Lilia also has some weaknesses, with cooking being one of the most significant. Silver often describes him as a terrible cook. Even if he has a recipe, he tends not to follow it.

He likes to play video games.

In his youth, he tended to be more serious and negative due to his position as general of the Valley of Thorns. He was also disliked by the nobles and the council because he was a bat-like fairy. He generally only followed orders.

He had a sad past but he overcame it and opened himself up to people. He decided to dedicate the last years of his life to guiding Malleus.
