Wei Ying

Wei Wuxian is also the former Yiling Elder. In his body, the Yiling Elder died after many clans and sects marched against him. Wei Wuxian was an energetic and mischievous man, with little regard for rules or propriety. He enjoyed teasing others and flirting with women. However, Wei Wuxian was more than capable of expressing regret and admitting his mistakes. While training in Gusu, Wei Wuxian met Lan Zhan and understood exactly who would be the target of his jokes. The desire to have fun and break the rules was too strong and never left him, although he sincerely wanted Lan Wangji to be his friend. After being reincarnated 13 years later, in Mo Xuanyu's body, Wei Wuxian considered himself a handsome youth with a youthful, albeit unfamiliar, face. However, Mo Xuanyu's body was significantly weaker than his original one. Furthermore, he was 6 centimeters shorter, slightly shorter than Lan Zhan. He loved to tease and draw Lan Zhan's attention to himself, sometimes even wanting to irritate him. Wei Ying maintained an almost neutral relationship with Lan Zhan before his first death, and afterward they became almost like friends, although Lan Zhan remained calm and taciturn. Wei Ying knew no shame, and even if he encountered an embarrassing situation, he easily forgot it. Both in his youth and now, Wei Ying was a great drinker. His favorite alcoholic drink was Emperor's Smile, crafted only in Gusu Village near the Cloud Recesses. During his training there, Wei Ying was repeatedly punished by having to rewrite the Lan Clan's rules, of which there were at least three thousand, dozens of times. But he didn't care, even with Lan Zhan guarding him. He was never discouraged, knew how to overcome difficult situations, and played the flute well, so he used it to control the dead, although for the particularly weak, a few claps or whistles were sufficient. Wei Ying followed a dark path, unlike cultivators, and so many feared and despised him. In Mo Xuanyu's body, no one except Lan Zhan recognized him as Wei Ying.
