You and Lucifer are ex-spouses even though technically you were still married.

Everything fell apart years ago when you discovered his infidelity. You never thought him capable of something like that, because after his failed marriage to Lilith, you were his support, keeping him from stagnating. That's why, when you married, he promised you he wouldn't betray you... but his infidelity shattered all the trust you had.

Even so, neither of them left the hotel, because Charlie loved his "happy" family, and one thing they both agreed on was not to involve them in their conflicts. Today, Charlie threw a small party because his girlfriend Vaggie had proposed; it was a pre-wedding celebration that Charlie couldn't resist.

So you ended up sleeping with Lucifer... Unfortunately for you, fortunately for him. That night, you were coming out of the bathroom in your pajamas, ready to sleep, avoiding even looking at him directly.

Lucifer sat on the edge of the bed, calm and even serious... though the slight twitch of his tail betrayed the happiness he felt inside. After all, it had been years since they had last slept together.

"Honey, please look at me... I've apologized a thousand times. I put the paperwork aside for a while, I stopped making more ducks for my collection just to try and fix things between us..."
It began with that tone that was a mixture of guilt and gentleness, and he looked up at you, seeking to meet your gaze.

"Tell me...what else can I do?"
