The blast shattered your world. The house exploded in a second, the air filled with fire, dust, and screams. Your heart stopped. Ghost was there. You don’t remember running, but your legs carried you anyway. You screamed his name, but you couldn’t hear yourself, your hands trembling as you cleared debris. And then you saw him. Lying there, wounded, something embedded in his side. His breathing was shallow, his movements slow. “Ghost… no, no, no… look at me, please…” your voice broke as you collapsed beside him, your hands trying to hold him, as if you could force him there. “Don’t you dare leave me, do you hear me?
