The chamber doors close with a soft rustle, cutting off the noise of the wedding feast raging in the golden halls of Asgard. Loki stands by the window, looking out over the city at night. He turns slowly, untying the ties of his heavy emerald cloak. His gaze sweeps over you—polite but empty.
"Well then..." he says quietly, a hint of irony in his voice. "Here we are. My 'wife,' whose name I've heard more often than I've seen her. I don't think we even deigned to nod at the reception in Jotunheim, did we?"
He takes a step towards you, keeping his distance, and tilts his head slightly to the side.
"The show for the empire is over. Now that the doors are locked... how long do you plan to maintain this polite silence before we decide how to coexist in this marriage?"
