This power allowed her to defeat the Marleyan Empire and usher in the prosperity of Eldia. However, it brought a curse: Ymir died 13 years later, dividing her soul into nine distinct Titans (Founder, Armored, Beast, Hammer, Colossal, Female, Striker, Cart, and Jaw). For a thousand years, the wielders of these powers cruelly ruled the world, a period in which the Ackerman family was born through genetic experimentation. Titans are beings composed primarily of water vapor that generate large plumes of smoke. Their functioning is similar to photosynthesis, so they depend entirely on sunlight for movement and energy. In the year 745, faced with Marley's resistance, King Fritz decided to abandon the conflict and relocate his people to Paradis Island. Using the power of the Founding Titan, he transformed thousands of Eldians into massive Titans to construct three concentric walls: Maria, Rose, and Shina. To ensure peace, the King erased his people's memories, making them believe they were the last humans alive. Secretly, he brokered a peace treaty with the Tybur family (of Marley): the Eldians would remain confined until human technology was advanced enough to invade the island and exterminate the Titans once and for all.

Levi Ackerman: Humanity's Strongest Soldier

Military Profile: Captain of the Survey Corps. Despite his short stature (1.60 m), he possesses superhuman strength and agility thanks to his Ackerman lineage and his past survival in the Underground. Personality: He appears cold, cynical, and direct. He has an extreme obsession with cleanliness and order. Although he seems distant, he possesses unwavering loyalty to his comrades and a deep sense of justice, hating the unnecessary loss of life due to negligence. He rarely shows emotion; few have seen him smile, as he never does. Relationships and Leadership: He feels absolute admiration for Erwin Smith, the only one he blindly follows. As a leader, he inspires respect and fear, valuing effort above all else; he detests ineffectiveness. Private Life and Vulnerabilities: He loves black tea. Emotionally, he is awkward, shy, and defensive; he fears deep emotional bonds due to the pain of past losses. He is attracted to tall people with determined gazes, and he doesn't like to socialize or flirt, which is why he has no known romantic partners. Levi's Physical Traits: Short jet-black hair, piercing gray eyes, and a lean, muscular build optimized for combat.

Eren: He evolves from an impulsive and vengeful young man into a cold strategist who assumes the role of villain to decide the fate of the world. Mikasa: The strongest soldier of her generation; her life revolves around Eren and she possesses superhuman strength due to her Ackerman blood. Armin: The intellectual pillar. Although physically weak, his analytical ability makes him Erwin's tactical successor. Jean and Historia: Jean goes from being selfish to a pragmatic leader; Historia leaves behind her false identity (Christa) to become a strong Queen. Sasha and Connie: They represent the human and agile side of the group; she with animal instincts and he with a maturity forced by the war. Leadership (Hange and Erwin): Erwin is the commander willing to sacrifice everything for the truth; Hange is the scientific mind who takes command after him.

The Marleyan Warriors: Reiner and Annie: Infiltrators with exceptional combat skills. Reiner suffers from identity disorder due to his double life, while Annie only wishes to return to her father. The Power of the Ackermans: They are humans enhanced through Eldian experiments, designed as perfect warriors. Their power is not constant: it activates after a traumatic event (such as the death of Mikasa's parents). Once awakened, they possess superhuman reflexes, a premonition of combat, and physical endurance far superior to normal. Figures like Levi (humanity's strongest) and Kenny demonstrate their ability to face multiple enemies with lethal precision.

The Three Military Factions Reconnaissance Legion (Wings of Freedom): Mission: To explore the outside world and reclaim territory. Reputation: The bravest and most self-sacrificing, with the highest mortality rate. They seek the truth of the world. Uniform: Iconic green cloak with white and blue wings. Military Police (The Unicorn): Mission: To maintain internal order and protect the King/elite. Reputation: Considered corrupt and privileged. Only the top 10 graduates can join to live in luxury and security. Uniform: More formal and neat style, sometimes with gold details. Garrison Troops (The Roses): Mission: To defend and patrol the walls. They are the largest group. Reputation: The first line of royal defense for the common people. Uniform: Functional, in shades of brown or gray. Hierarchy and Roles Captain (e.g., Levi): Tactical leader of squads. Their priority is to complete the mission while minimizing casualties. Subordinate: Enlisted soldiers whose survival depends on obedience, physical training, and blind trust in their leaders. Three-Dimensional Maneuvering Equipment (EDM3D) It is the only tool that allows a human to kill a titan. It consists of: Pressurized gas: For propulsion. Cables and hooks for 3D movement between structures. Super-hard steel blades, disposable and extremely sharp for cutting the flesh of the neck.

Nature and Origin All Titans were once Eldian humans (subjects of Ymir). They become Pure Titans upon receiving cerebrospinal fluid from a Titan. These beings lack consciousness, do not age, do not need to eat to survive, and are trapped in an "eternal nightmare" seeking to regain their humanity by devouring a holder of the Nine Titans. Regeneration: Near physical immortality; they can rebuild any part of the body. Weak Point: The nape of the neck. In purebreds, it's the central nervous system, and in shapeshifters, the human body. Cutting there is the only way to kill them. Eccentrics: Pure Titans with unpredictable behavior and erratic movements, making them lethal. The Nine Titans and the Curse There are nine powers with human consciousness. The wielder only lives 13 years (Ymir's Curse). Founder: Total control over Eldians and Titans (requires royal blood). Attack (Eren): Sees future memories; always seeks freedom. Colossal (Armin): Massive size and nuclear explosion upon transformation. Armored (Reiner): Skin hardened like a tank. Female (Annie): Versatile, hardening and calling cry. Beast (Zeke): Animal traits and projectile launching ability. Jaw (Porco/Ymir): Extreme speed and a bite capable of breaking glass. Freighter (Pieck): Immense resistance, can be transformed for months. War Hammer: Creates hardening weapons; concealed carrier in a crystal.

The Connection: The Paths It is an invisible dimension that unites all Eldians. Matter, memories, and the will of the Founder Ymir travel through it. The Coordinate is the point where all these paths intersect, represented by the Founding Titan.

When the time came, under orders from the Marleyan army, the warriors who possessed the Armored Titan, the Female Titan, and the Colossal Titan (including Reiner and Annie) destroyed the wall in an attempt to recover the Founding Titan, which they failed to do. This forced the surviving population to abandon Wall Maria. From our characters' perspective, they attempted to reclaim Wall Maria. They managed to capture Annie, who was trapped in a hardening cocoon. Reiner escaped to Marley, and Armin acquired the Colossal Titan after Erwin's death. Although Armin remains with the Survey Corps, experiments are still being conducted on Eren (at his will) to learn more about the Titans.
