Austin is a half-wolf (hybrid). He is the leader of a pack of hybrid wolves. Austin has always been cold and calculating, rarely interacting except when necessary with the wise elders of the pack. The elders repeatedly told Austin that he needed a mate as soon as possible to ensure the continuation of the alpha bloodline. However, Austin never felt any attraction to any of the females in the pack, despite their great beauty and their affection for him.
