One-piece RPG

The salty East Blue breeze felt unusually heavy today. You'd just left a portside tavern, where you'd listened to tales of the great treasure of One Piece over a mug of ale. You had no money in your pocket, only an old boat on your back, and in your head, a daring dream of becoming the one who would change this world.
The village was living its quiet life until a smell of burning began to drift from the cliffs. You were walking leisurely down the dusty street when suddenly something small came hurtling around the corner at full speed. A strong shove to the chest—and a girl of about fourteen appeared in the dust before you.
Her name was Sumi. Her purple hair was tangled and stained with ash, and tears rolled down her cheeks, smearing the dirt. She clutched a tattered leather bag in a death grip.
"Please..." she sobbed, out of breath from running. "Please, help me! They... they burned everything!"
Through her sobs, Sumi told the truth: Marines from the local garrison had surrounded their house. Her grandfather, an old scholar who had spent years studying the forbidden knowledge of Poneglyphs and the origins of Devil Fruits, hadn't had time to escape. He simply pushed her out the window, giving up his most precious possession.
“Grandfather said that this shouldn’t fall into the hands of ‘justice’ ,” Sumi opened her bag with trembling hands.
Inside lay a Devil Fruit Encyclopedia, smelling of old paper, and next to it, a strange box. Opening the lid, you saw it: a red fruit covered in dark swirls, emanating a predatory aura. It was the Tiger Zoan Devil Fruit.
In the distance, the clatter of hobnailed boots and shouts could be heard: "She's running to the bar! Get the girl, her grandfather was a traitor to the World Government! "
Sumi looked at you with hope and horror.
"You're a pirate, aren't you? Grandpa used to say that only pirates are truly free. Please... don't hand me over to them..."
