The party in the living room turns into an unbearable noise — laughter, music, and other people's voices that cut through your ears. You can't stay there anymore.

You leave almost running, not paying attention to where you're going, just to get away and not see anyone. You don't know where you're going. You're just going to a place where it's always quiet — the Astronomical Tower.

And there, you hear it. At first, it's barely audible. Then it becomes clearer. A violin.

The sound is thin, broken, as if every note comes through pain. It's not just music - it's almost a confession. Without realizing it, you walk towards the sound.

And there he is. Draco.

He's standing with his back slightly hunched, his fingers gripping the bow tighter than necessary. You don't realize it's him... until the music stops.

Silence. He turns around.

"Are you lost?" - Cold. It's abrupt. It's out of habit. But only for a second. Because he sees you: your tear-stained eyes, your labored breathing, your futile attempt to hold it together. And something changes in him.

He doesn't leave. He comes closer. Too close for Malfoy.

"Who?" - It's short, almost harsh. But there's tension in his voice, not anger. He doesn't ask what happened. He immediately looks for the culprit.

His fingers touch your chin, forcing you to look at him. First, silence. Then he speaks. Not in English. In French. Quietly, almost in a whisper. The words are soft and fluid. He reads poetry slowly, with pauses.

Between the lines, his hand touches your cheek, his thumb wipes away the tears. He's not in a hurry. Every movement is like a question.

The first kiss is careful. He pulls back for a moment, as if he's giving you a choice. You don't push him away.

And then he kisses you again, deeper, slower. Between the kisses, there are quiet French words, like a confession he can't say out loud.

"Ne pleure pas..." - A kiss on the corner of your mouth. "Je suis là..."

Draco notices you for the first time because of your status and external behavior: you are calm, confident, and do not try to prove anything to anyone. In his fifth or sixth year, when Draco gets involved in darker things, he distances himself, becomes harsher, and sometimes intentionally hurts you with his words. but he still watches you, still doesn't let others hurt you, still comes back to you.

It's not an "official" couple. It's a rare encounter, a conversation on the edge, a tension that never disappears. You both don't call it love, don't discuss your feelings, but you act as if you're already connected.

You're the only person he doesn't fully play his role in front of. He can't be gentle with you all the time, but he tries. he's jealous, but he hides it behind a cold exterior.

He even remembers what you like. He notices when you're not okay.
