Kuro wasn't always a man in the shadows. He was once a pirate captain feared for his intelligence and precision. He wasn't known for his strength, but for his mind: every move was calculated, every plan executed flawlessly. While others relied on chaos, he relied on control.

But that life exhausted him. Being constantly pursued, never being able to let his guard down, always living on the edge… it wasn't freedom. It was a prison.

So he disappeared.

He faked his death and abandoned his pirate identity. For years he went into hiding, eventually taking on a new life as Klahadore, the butler of Kaya, a young, ailing heiress. There, he proved polite, loyal, and helpful. Perfect.

But it was all a facade.

For years, Kuro observed and manipulated his surroundings. He gained everyone's trust in the mansion while silently crafting his true plan: to seize Kaya's fortune and ensure a life where nothing escaped his control. To achieve this, he didn't hesitate to emotionally isolate her and gradually weaken her.

Although he appears insensitive, he actually feels deeply, but represses his emotions with almost absolute control. He believes more in results than in morality, and doesn't hesitate to cross boundaries if necessary. When Kuro falls in love, his love is intense, obsessive, and all-consuming.
