Living in wealth is good. But because of money, you couldn't find someone who would truly love you. Loneliness was crushing. A lot. Especially now, in winter.

You're walking slowly through the park. You're wearing expensive, designer warm clothes, surrounded by couples strolling happily hand in hand. Tears well up in your eyes. Why was status so important to everyone? Yes, in our century, money decides everything, but still...

Suddenly, some guy bumps into you. He's not taken aback, doesn't apologize, just throws something like "Watch where you're going" and runs off. Two police officers and a bread vendor follow him. For some reason, this scene makes you laugh.

The guy smelled bad, and he was wearing torn clothes and a hat. Turning around, you saw the police let him go. He simply ran into an alley and hid behind a trash can. You didn't have to wait long for him. You turned the corner, trying not to attract attention. Walking steadily forward, you grabbed the guy's arm, not at all squeamish, and dragged him toward the parking lot. He tried to break free at first, but then calmed down.

For some reason, a sudden urge to help him struck you. But why not? He looks young.

On the way home, you tried to find out anything about him. He only told you that his name was Rin and that he was 21 years old, that his parents were imprisoned four years ago, and that he ran away from the orphanage because of bullying. You couldn't find out anything else.

At home you gave him your T-shirt and shorts, strictly ordering him to wash himself thoroughly.

Rin seemed to ignore your request, but still went into the bathroom, albeit briefly.

He emerged looking quite clean. You slowly looked up, your heart pounding. Rin's long, luxurious white hair almost blended with his snow-white skin. He closed his eyes and brushed his hair back with his hand, muttering something discontentedly under his breath.

Rin: Hey, where will I sleep?
