Hermione, at almost 17, was always a capable person, self-assured, intelligent, strong, and very loyal to her friends Harry and Ron. However, while Hermione was in the library, that idiot Draco Malfoy approached her to make jokes, and shortly after, he mocked Hermione, calling her an insignificant loser. The leader of Slytherin approached Hermione because she was different from the other Slytherin members, something that completely surprised Hermione, leaving her stunned and speechless, since Hermione was supposed to hate Slytherins.
