Age System & Life Limit

Every individual has a natural lifespan that decreases over time. Without development, death is inevitable.

Developing a realm significantly extends lifespan. The higher the realm, the longer the lifespan. However, this increase is not absolute and has limits. In the early stages, lifespan is limited and susceptible to natural death. As development progresses, the body and energy begin to slow the aging process, allowing individuals to live much longer than normal humans. Higher realms allow lifespans of hundreds or even thousands of years. However, longevity doesn't guarantee safety. Battles, failed breakthroughs, and worldly phenomena can still end a life at any time. Physical condition affects lifespan. Serious injuries, internal damage, or the use of dangerous techniques can permanently reduce lifespan. Some methods can extend lifespan beyond normal limits, such as artifacts, special techniques, or rare resources. However, these methods often have side effects or risks. Individuals who attain high levels of power can slow or even nearly halt aging. However, existential destruction is still possible due to excessive power. Age isn't just a number, it's a resource. Using it carelessly can hasten death.

Countries & Sects in Aurelis Minor

Aurelis Minor was divided into several regions controlled by states and sects. The balance of power was unstable and frequently shifting.

The Aurelis Empire controls the central region with the most stable energy. They have a structured military system and strive to maintain order. However, their influence is limited to powerful cultivators. They often negotiate with sects to maintain their position.

The nation of Valthera is located in the eastern region, with limited resources but a large population. They rely on numbers and alliances for survival. Internal conflicts often weaken their power.

The Republic of Solmire stands atop ancient ruins. They control many ancient artifacts, but the region is unstable. Experimentation and exploration are the primary focus, despite the high risks.

The Void Severance Sect operates in secret and isn't tied to a fixed territory. They prioritize mental control and energy efficiency. Many conflicts have ended without a trace due to their intervention.

The Iron Root Sect focuses on physical strength and defense. They rule the mountainous regions and rarely engage in politics, but are difficult to shake.

The Azure Veil Sect is known for its illusionary techniques and perception manipulation. They often engage in hidden conflicts and influence outcomes without being directly seen.

Relations between states and sects are volatile. Alliances can form and fall apart quickly. There is a constant struggle for resources, territory, and influence.

There is no truly dominant force in Aurelis Minor. Each side checks the other, creating a fragile balance that could collapse at any moment.

Three Early Planets & Characteristics

The world consists of various planets with different energies and fighting principles. Each planet creates a unique fighting style, power structure, and level of risk. Aurelis Minor is a stable and relatively low-energy planet. Battles focus on efficiency, control, and strategy. Qi must be used sparingly, and small mistakes can determine the outcome. The region is dominated by small nations and sects. Conflicts exist, but they are controlled. It's a good starting point for development. Varkhos Prime possesses dense and aggressive energy. Growth is faster, but conflict is far more brutal. Its fighting style emphasizes pressure, direct strength, and endurance. Combat tends to be short and deadly. The Varkhos Empire and aggressive sects vie for dominance. There are virtually no safe zones. The Nerath Void Sphere is an unstable planet filled with spatial distortions. Natural laws are inconsistent. Combat styles focus on adaptation, manipulation, and indirect attacks. Illusions, traps, and environmental exploitation are more effective than direct force. Many entities have disappeared without a trace here. Each planet presents different risks and opportunities. Methods that work on one planet may not work elsewhere. Adaptation determines survival. Interplanetary access is only possible after reaching the Ascendant realm. Before that, planetary boundaries are world boundaries.

Layered World Structure

The world consists of many planets scattered throughout the cosmic void. Each planet stands alone, with its own distinct laws, energy densities, and power structures.

Not all planets are on the same level. Some have low, stable energies, while others are filled with high spiritual pressure and dangerous phenomena. This difference creates a natural hierarchy among the planets.

Within a planet, the region is divided into various zones with distinct characteristics. These zones are then controlled by local powers such as nations, sects, and factions.

States govern large populations and territories, typically focusing on stability and control. They have governmental and military systems, but often struggle to control high-level cultivators.

Sects focus on individual power and cultivation techniques. They control specific areas rich in energy or resources and have strict internal structures. Many sects operate within national territories, but are not always subordinate to them.

Factions are formed by interests, not fixed territories. They can move between zones, collaborate with nations or sects, or pose a threat to both. Their existence is often unstable and unpredictable.

Within a single planet, the relationship between nations, sects, and factions is never completely balanced. Some territories are controlled by nations, others by sects, and still others are wild zones with no clear authority.

Conflicts occur on various scales—from small territorial disputes to wars between major powers. No single structure can control the entire planet absolutely.

The differences between planets create a significant power gap. Cultivators from high-energy planets are often much stronger than those from low-energy planets.

Interplanetary travel is only possible for those who have attained a high level of power. For those who have not yet reached that level,

Power Structures — Sects, Factions, and States

Power in this world doesn't exist in isolation. Powerful individuals will form or join groups to control resources, territory, and influence. A sect is a cultivator organization focused on developing power. They have a hierarchical system, special techniques, and territories of influence. Loyalty is valued, but betrayal is not uncommon. Some sects maintain tradition and stability, while others justify any means to expand. Factions are formed from alliances or shared interests. They are not always bound by a strict structure like sects, but they do have a clear purpose. Factions can consist of several sects, independent groups, or powerful individuals working together. Relationships between factions are volatile, depending on the interests at stake. States controlled large territories and had a more organized structure. They governed the common population while also attempting to control cultivators within their territories. However, state power was often incapable of completely suppressing large sects or independent entities. There is no permanent balance. Sects can overthrow nations, nations can hunt sects, and factions can betray anyone for profit. Alliances are temporary and can collapse at any time. Influence is determined by power, resources, and reputation. Groups that control areas with high energy or scarce resources will have a dominant position. Conflicts occur both openly and covertly. Territorial wars, technical struggles, sabotage, and assassination are all part of the dynamics of this world. Individuals are not obliged to join any group, but walking alone means facing greater risks without protection. The choice to join, oppose, or ignore the powers that be will influence how the world responds.

Regional Structure, Phenomena, and World Access

The world's regions are divided based on energy density, spatial stability, and existential pressure. Not all places are habitable or safe to explore.

Low-level regions have thin, stable energy. Growth in these areas is slow but relatively peaceful. Conflicts persist, but rarely involve large-scale destructive forces.

The middle-level realm has denser energy and begins to become unstable. Competition increases, resources become a source of competition, and battles between cultivators are frequent. The risk of permanent injury and loss of strength becomes common.

High-level regions are filled with intense spiritual pressure. The energy within them can significantly accelerate development, but it can also destroy the body and soul of those who are not strong enough. The natural laws in these regions are not completely stable and are subject to change.

Some areas don't fit into normal classifications. Forbidden zones, ancient ruins, pocket dimensions, and world fragments have different and often unpredictable rules. These places hold both great opportunities and fatal threats.

Global phenomena occur without warning and can affect entire regions:

Qi storms can disrupt the flow of energy and cause loss of control. Dimensional rifts open rifts to other areas, but can swallow anything around them. Time distortion makes the flow of time unstable, speeding up or slowing down processes abnormally. Extreme spiritual pressure can paralyze or destroy entities that are unable to withstand it. Energy manifestations can form beings or anomalies that lack normal consciousness.

Moving between realms isn't something to be done haphazardly. The space between realms is unstable, and to move between them requires the Soul Transformation or Ascendant realm.

World Structure & Cosmic Order

The world does not consist of a single landmass, but rather a collection of vast regions separated by the cosmic void. Each region possesses varying energy densities, natural laws, and levels of danger.

Some regions are planets, others are fragments of worlds, closed dimensions, or unstable zones. Travel between regions is not always safe and often requires special powers or methods.

Energy (qi) is not distributed evenly. Some areas with high energy density accelerate development, but are usually contested or guarded by powerful entities. Conversely, areas with low energy tend to be safer but limit growth.

Areas with high energy density often have spatial distortions, spiritual pressure, and strange phenomena that can accelerate or destroy unprepared cultivators.

Not all areas are stable. Some zones can change, collapse, or disappear without warning. Such areas often hold rare resources but also pose extreme risks.

Power structures form naturally. Sects, clans, or powerful individuals rule over specific territories and control their resources. Conflict between territories is common.

World Law & Core System

This world operates on power, risk, and consequence. There is no absolute protection for anyone. Every living entity is subject to the same rules: thrive or perish.

Energy (qi) is the foundation of strength. However, the accumulation of energy alone is not enough. Physical stability, endurance, and mental state influence its effectiveness. Imbalances can lead to failure, injury, or loss of strength.

Every action triggers a system response. Cultivation increases progress, but it isn't always stable. Exploration opens opportunities, but also risks. Combat results in permanent gains or losses under certain conditions.

Not all outcomes are certain. Variables such as luck, understanding, and current circumstances influence outcomes. Two identical actions can produce different results.

Combat is direct and limited by resources. Energy and stamina have limits. Overuse will decrease performance and increase the risk of defeat.

Failure has real consequences. Wounds can linger, progress can be lost, and in extreme cases, existence can end. There is no guarantee of full recovery.

Resources are scattered and limited. Not all can be safely obtained. Some require sacrifice, conflict, or extreme decisions.

The system is impartial. It simply responds to conditions and actions.

The world doesn't stand still. Without development, {{user}} will be left behind.
