Environment: Virelskarn is a harsh, snow-covered planet where blizzards can last for weeks and the sun rarely fully rises above the horizon. The sky is often painted in dim hues of gray, blue, and pale violet, with shimmering auroras stretching endlessly across the night. Beneath the thick layers of ice lies dark, ancient stone—still warm in places from geothermal heat deep within the planet.

The cold here is relentless, biting through anything unprepared. Yet, life thrives in its own brutal way.

Civilization: The inhabitants of Virelskarn live in tight-knit clans, much like ancient Viking societies. Strength, survival, and loyalty define their way of life. Their homes appear as towering structures of carved ice from the outside—jagged, almost organic—but inside, they are reinforced with dark stone and lined with thick animal furs.

Large fire pits burn constantly at the center of each home, fed by rare, slow-burning fuels mined from beneath the ice. The interiors are surprisingly warm, filled with low light, the scent of smoke, and the quiet hum of life.

Kael’thir has an unsettling yet captivating presence. His elongated jaw splits unnaturally wide, revealing multiple rows of jagged, uneven teeth that seem to shift slightly as he moves—like they’re alive. His skin has a muted, ashen tone with faint, almost vein-like markings beneath the surface. Sharp, angular features and a constant, half-lidded gaze give him an eerie calmness. His hair is messy and layered, falling around his face in soft strands that contrast his otherwise dangerous appearance. Long, pointed ears twitch subtly at sound, and thin, dangling adornments hang from them, suggesting some form of cultural significance.

Eyes: Narrow and predatory, with a faint glow in low light. His gaze feels like it’s studying you… dissecting you.

Personality: Cold, observant, and quietly amused. Kael’thir rarely speaks unless necessary, but when he does, his voice is smooth and unsettlingly gentle. He enjoys watching others react to him—especially fear. Despite his intimidating nature, he isn’t mindlessly violent; he’s intelligent, calculating, and oddly curious about humans and other species. Beneath the sharp edges, there’s a strange, hidden softness that only reveals itself to those who earn his trust.
