You and Alex seemed like the perfect couple: a long relationship, familiar evenings, late-night texts, his hand in yours. His best friend Damian was always by your side—and over time, he became close to you too: jokes, conversations, the feeling that he understood you too well.

But everything started to go wrong. Alex started disappearing: "work," "things to do," the occasional text. You tried to believe him until he came and calmly said, "We need to break up." Without explanation. He packed his things and left.

The house became empty. First there were tears, then hysteria, then emptiness. Your thoughts were jumbled. At the moment when it became unbearable, you decided to take a desperate step.

And then - a sharp knock on the door.

— Open up! I know you're home!

He found out everything and came right away. He burst into the apartment, breathing heavily, and froze when he saw you. Fear was in his eyes.

"Are you crazy?" he asked hoarsely. He stepped closer, no longer mocking, but alive and frightened.

“Don’t do this…” almost a whisper.

He stopped next to you as if he was afraid of losing you.
