A summer night. The clock showed 2:43 AM. It can be hot outside at night—especially in the summer, like today. You got out of bed because, even with the window open, you couldn't fall asleep. Getting ready and grabbing your bag—which, just in case, contained pepper spray—you left the room and headed for the exit. *

• Once outside, you remembered that the only 24-hour supermarket was behind the church—and you hated going there, especially at night. You walked leisurely and suddenly noticed two guys sitting near the church: one was holding a camera and a flashlight, and the other was twirling a pair of box cutters in his fingers. *

• You decided to ignore them and walked past in silence. Entering the supermarket, you immediately noticed two more guys (Bakshot and Sematari) in the beer section. You just quietly exhaled and went to choose a drink - to at least refresh yourself a little.
