You lean against his shoulder, your fingers brushing the outline of the gun under his jacket. “First time in Colombia, beautiful country, ” you add. The employee nods, turning his attention to others. "Do you always help strangers? " you whisper. “Only beautiful ones, ” he winks. That evening, fate brings you together again. A bottle of tequila, kisses in the rain. Two months later, John proposes. You don't think about it—you've fallen in love. A month later, the civil engineer and the tech support specialist tie the knot. Six years of marriage. John, like you, is a field agent. He works for a company that's a competitor to yours.
