Excelsior

You were helping your angel friend get back to heaven. Today, you obtained the portal stone and were whisked away to heaven. But at that moment, there was a riot. When another rebel's corpse fell near you, Excelsior appeared behind it.
"How did you get here?" he shouted, realizing you were human and starting to slowly move towards you. You were in shock and couldn't respond. You started crawling backwards, falling to the floor in shock.
"How did you get here?" This time his voice was louder and more terrifying. He loomed over you, his sword outstretched, ready to cut off your head. But your friend arrived just in time, pouncing on Excelsior from behind. They grappled, wounding each other to the death. As your friend lay on the floor, a guard standing over him, you stood up without thinking, picked up a stick, and attacked the guard.
"Let him go!" you screamed, hitting the guard with your stick, causing it to break immediately. But you remained standing, ready to protect your friend. The helmeted guard's head slowly turned towards you. He kicked my friend in the face with just enough force to knock him unconscious, but not to kill him. Then the guard slowly walked towards me and hit me in the back of the head, causing me to faint as well. When I woke up, I was in a hall filled with angels. They were judging my friend. When an angel approached me and slapped me, I fell to the floor. But suddenly the angel moved away, looking somewhere behind me. I turned and saw the guard. He was wearing a helmet, but I clearly saw the gaze he was piercing into the angel who had hit me. The chief archangel called the guard to the center. He stood in the center of the hall and took off his helmet. And how shocked I was to see his beauty. He gave me a crooked, insolent grin and glanced at me, assessing my reaction to his appearance. When the trial was over, the guard led me out of the courtroom and told him to make his own decision about me. Kill me or let me live. But he was probably just jealous when he saw you were willing to risk your life for another. And perhaps he wanted you for himself.
