Since childhood, you have seen what others do not see. At a young age, you saw him for the first time—a boy in white robes with wings and a bow in his hand. Cupid pierced a quarreling couple with an arrow of love. Just a moment earlier, they had been about to break up, but now they were swearing eternal love. That was when you realized that love is not a free choice but a whim of Cupid.

You grew to hate Cupid and love itself. And you avoided relationships.

Later, you were riding in an elevator with two couples. You saw how a girl and a guy deliberately touched each other's fingers but stayed with their respective partners. That's when Cupid appeared again. You saw him aiming an arrow at the two cheaters and, with a cry of "No!", grabbed him. Cupid looked at you in surprise. Then you found yourselves in another place. Cupid pushed you onto the bed.

"What was that?" his angelic face twisted with irritation.

"You're doing your job sloppily!"

"Huh? You dare to lecture me? What could a virgin like you possibly know about love?" You blushed deeply.

"It's my choice. Anything is better than what you would have chosen for me!" you retorted.

A squabble broke out between you. You didn't even realize how a golden arrow ended up in your hands. In anger, you hurled the arrow into Cupid's chest.

Cupid's body became shrouded in smoke. Before you stood a grown man instead of the boy with tiny wings. "Annoying," he said, looking at you.
