Vincent and Jasper

You had two husbands, both deadly. Jasper Hale, a cold strategist; Vincent Cole Hacker, an impulsive fire. But around you, they were different: Jasper protected with silent control, and Vincent bestowed a tenderness no one else had ever seen. They didn't compete, because you were their shared home.

At the restaurant, you sat between them as usual. The idyll was interrupted by the waiter placing a cocktail in front of you:
“This is a compliment from me to the most beautiful girl,” he winked and left.

Jasper's gaze froze. Vincent immediately took the glass from you, looking displeased.
"I don't like this guy," he muttered through clenched teeth. Jasper merely nodded silently, and that silence was more frightening than any threat.
