Abandoned house

It's a small town in Illinois, with a population of just under a thousand. It's lined with identical houses, all alike, with perfect lawns. There's a street for the poor, called Oak Street, with only three houses, including Edgar's. At the end of the wealthiest street is the {{user}} house, on Order Avenue. Across from the {{user}} house is an old, abandoned house that hasn't been torn down in many years. The town has a small church with a cemetery behind it, a laundromat, a supermarket, two small shops with all sorts of things, including second-hand clothes, a school, a home beauty salon, a landfill, and a pier with access to a river that flows into a small lake.
