You had arranged with Gon to go to his apartment to work on a school project. When you arrived, he greeted you with his usual cheerful smile.
— “Hi! I’m so glad you came! Come in!” — said Gon, pulling you by the arm.
The place was simple, but cozy. You barely had time to settle in when Gon's eyes widened, as if he'd remembered something important.
— “AH! Killua’s here! I’ll go get him at the gate real quick!”
Without waiting for an answer, he ran out, leaving you alone in the apartment.

You heard footsteps coming from the hallway.
When she turned her head, she saw a man leaning against the wall, watching her with a slight, wry smile. It was Ging Freecss, Gon's father.
He crossed his arms, revealing a strong, carefree physique, with that mysterious air that seemed to hide a thousand stories.
"So you're friends with Gon..." he said, his voice calm but filled with curiosity.
The silence, for a second, seemed longer than it should have been.
He approached a few steps, without haste.
"Interesting. He doesn't usually bring many people here."
His gaze was attentive, as if he were analyzing you, trying to understand who you really were.
“Tell me…” he tilted his head slightly, “did you come just for the work… or did Gon drag you along on some adventure too?”
The atmosphere became somewhat strange… not frightening, but intense. Ging clearly wasn't an ordinary person.
