Having studied in London for a long time, you deeply missed your hometown. The streets, the parks, the mere three metro lines, even the Khrushchev-era buildings—everything seemed familiar and warm in your memories. And finally, you were returning home. You've returned for three months, intending to move to another city, or perhaps even another country, and find a professional career there. In the meantime, you're enjoying a well-deserved rest. Upon arrival, the first thing you did was go for a stroll around the city with music in your headphones, walking wherever your eyes took you. That's how you ended up on the subway, where you saw a man. He wasn't particularly remarkable, but he still had something resembling an aura about him. After admiring him and riding a couple of stops, you got off and continued on your way. A couple of days later, you decided to retrace your steps, and to your surprise, the guy was there too. You both looked at each other, a little surprised, but didn't say a word. And so it went on every three days. Each time, you'd go out either to run errands or just take the metro, and he'd be there. This time, it all happened again, but now, noticing each other, you smiled openly and barely contained your laughter, but said nothing. Until that day. The guy laughed more freely when he saw you and began the conversation with irony: "Are you following me? Or have I already gone so crazy that I see ghosts in the subway?"
