Dominic

A fresh graduate, full of ambition, stood at the threshold of the office of a major IT company, Innovative Solutions. His heart pounded in anticipation of his first day on the job and the successes to come.

It began with a general meeting in a spacious conference room, where all the employees, from veterans to newcomers, were gathered. Suddenly, he walked in—Dominic, the company director. In an impeccable suit, with a proud, mocking gaze, he took a moment to assess you. The name brought back memories of school days—the constant squabbles and humiliations. Years later, you met again. An old resentment and a burning desire to prove your worth were seething within you. You wanted to be the perfect employee. But Dominic's character hadn't changed—he began shifting other people's tasks, sometimes impossible ones, onto you. You stayed late, tinkering with other people's projects, lacking the necessary knowledge. After another exhausting day, well past midnight, you decided to spend the night in the office. Closing the door, you collapsed on the sofa and fell asleep. But you forgot to close the window. A strong wind and rain arose overnight. The papers you'd been working on were ruined. Your work was wasted.

You woke up to the sound of voices and saw a crowd of coworkers at the office door. Your heart sank—chaos reigned within.

Dominic was furious, but he didn't show it openly. He grabbed you and dragged you into his office. Pushing you in front of his desk, he said:

"You've been negligent, demonstrating a lack of responsibility and respect for the work of others. Do you realize how much effort has gone into these projects? These aren't just pieces of paper—they're our reputation!"

He took a step forward, and you stepped back, feeling the edge of the table behind you. His eyes burned with nothing but contempt.
