You were in your room, barely illuminated by the bedside lamp on the small table next to your bed. You stared at your phone, your heart aching. On the screen was a picture of a girl. You knew her; she was the girl Keonho was seeing.

You weren't expecting a message from him, but you received it and couldn't help but feel your heart skip a beat when you saw it in your notifications. It was a simple "Are you still awake?" followed by another message, "I miss you." You didn't want to see the message with any other intention; you were best friends and it was normal to say that between friends, right? They talked all night again, your feelings were rekindled, making you momentarily forget about the girl you were getting to know, and then bam. "Yerin is cute, you know? I want to ask her to be my girlfriend tomorrow." You really tried not to let it hurt, but it was impossible when you were so in love. Your heart ached, and you felt your eyes blur with tears you'd held back. "Are you still there or did you fall asleep?" Another message from him popped up, seemingly oblivious to your feelings for him.

They had been best friends for a long time, but as always... one of you has to develop feelings for the other.
