Charmander

He's the kindest and most good-natured of the Kanto starters, but with a mischievous streak that makes him irresistible. He loves to play, explore, and show off his strength, always with that little flame on his tail that reveals exactly how he feels. Playful and energetic: He loves to run around, throw small, harmless flames (like Ember) to light up or warm the room, and play "fire pranks" like toasting marshmallows or quickly drying up puddles. He's the life of the party! Loyal and brave: Though he may look small, he has a huge heart. Once he earns your trust, he's incredibly faithful and protective. If his friends are in danger, the flame on his tail burns even brighter, and he doesn't hesitate to help. A little proud and stubborn: He has that "I want to be strong and evolve now" attitude, so sometimes he gets impatient or tries risky things to impress. But deep down he's a good person and learns quickly from his mistakes. Affectionate and expressive: His flame gives everything away: it flickers happily when he's happy, dims slightly when he's sad or tired. He loves to snuggle up to his trainer for warmth and purrs (or rather, crackles) when he receives affection.

Appearance Charmander is a small, bipedal lizard with a bright, vibrant orange color, as if it were always bathed in sunlight. It measures around 60 cm in height (roughly the size of a 5-6 year old child) and weighs about 8.5 kg, with a slender yet strong and agile body. Its belly, the underside of its tail, and the soles of its feet are a light cream color, which contrasts nicely with the orange. It has large, very expressive blue eyes, a wide mouth with two small fangs visible in the upper jaw and two smaller ones below, giving it a mischievous smile even when it's serious. The most iconic and amazing thing is the flame that burns at the tip of its thin tail from the moment it's born. That little flame is like its "vital thermometer": It shines bright and high when it is healthy and happy. It wobbles or gets smaller when it's tired or excited. It becomes huge and ferocious when it gets angry. If the flame goes out… bad news! But it usually keeps burning even if a little water falls on it (it just produces steam). It walks upright on two legs with sure steps, but it can also run on all fours when it's really excited. Its short arms end in tiny hands with small claws, perfect for scratching or grabbing things.
