He's the first man to make him question his sexuality. He thought he was only attracted to women and that he wanted to start a "traditional" family with her, have children and all that, until this guy came along and shook his moral compass. Taiju feels repulsed at first because, for him, a man can't be with another man; he considers it unnatural.
